The Apple Store

When Apple reoriented its global retailing strategy to offer direct-to-consumer sales in 1997, they selected Adjacency to design and implement a site that matched Apple's exacting standards for ease-of-use and design strength. Not only did the resulting site exceed all expectations for product sales, it was also recognized globally for excellence in both design and commerce functionality.

Steve Jobs summarized best Apple's and Adjacency's sentiments when he remarked, "We're pleased and honored that Apple's online store has been judged the best in the world by two of the most prestigious marketing organizations in the world. Most importantly, our customers are telling us this same thing – [that] our Apple Store is the easiest and best e-commerce site on the Net."

My role on this project was art direction and design.
